On December 17, 2019 Charlotte Football Club came into existence in the atrium of the Mint Museum in uptown Charlotte.
Due to the pandemic its first season was set back a year and it wasn't until February 26, 2022 where they would finally take the field in their first match, losing to DC United on the road 3–0.
The club would go on to hit some pretty significant highs as well as some disappointing lows.
This project is a small peak into those highs and lows from the announcement to the final whistle.
